Anyway, there was one quote from the movie that I found memorable - from a conversation between DJ and Sylvester towards the very end of the movie. I can't remember exact lines and can't find it online, but I think it was something along these lines:
DJ: But you've been waiting for 4 years for this opportunity!
Sylvester: This is not about you. This is not about me. This is about the team.
I thought - Wow! If only I can always remember that!
Of course, I would have changed that "quote" to - "It's not about you. It's not about me. It's about Christ and His people".
But really, I was just thinking, if I can always remember and live by that principle, I'm sure there are things that I would have done differently, and things I will do differently! That is, Christ and His people would dictate all my decisions - when I decide to step up or step back, when to take initiative/leadership or when to let others lead and encourage them in that, when I decide to say something or not to say something, when I decide to spend time doing something or not doing it, etc.
After all isn't Christian life supposed to be a life lived for Christ anyway? (and for others as per Christ's command?)
And imagine if all Christians live by that principle!
